ABOUT THE MANAGING DIRECTOR

Philip McAlary is the founder and Managing director of OverseasEmployment.ca.  Mr. McAlary draws from a rich and diverse professional history in teaching and management.  He holds a degree in Business, Management Certification in Marketing and Public Relations and his TESOL certification. He has over 30 years practical teaching experience with more then 18 years working abroad. He is an honorary professor in China and has designed courses for many educational institutes, including a Montessori school ESL program in China.  He has also completed numerous contracts in teaching, recruiting, employment counselling, writing/editing and has instructed/designed countless training workshops, including his own Accelerated and Interactive TECOL/TESOL Teacher Certification Training program .       

Additionally, Mr. McAlary has an extensive professional background in music, theatre and television.    He has hosted hundreds of shows and has extensive experience working and performing for Cruise ships and theme parks.  Due to his many years of experience in the work/travel industry, he has a deep understanding of the challenges foreigners face, as well as the incredible joys, rewards and knowledge that come with a career working overseas
